Serious Q & A Sessions A lot of people with careers in public speaking make their biggest mistakes when doing their question and answer sessions. The speaker will have a great program, have a powerful close, open the floor up to questions, answer them well, and then ---- fade off the stage into oblivion. So sad, but why? If you don't offer a second powerful close after the question and answer period it could leave a bad impact on what you just said. You took the time to create the initial powerful program and presented it well, why would you want to waste all that effort by not doing a second closing? Make sure you have two good closes whenever you might have a Q & A session. Make the session end on a good and memorable note. A "trick" that I use in my career in public speaking.
